A quick reflection on the season. Starting back in April and May practicing through all the rain and unstable weather condition, to the heat of July. Fighting through injuries, and players vacations. The long nights on the practice field and driving 2 hours to watch an up and coming opponent. All that sacrifice and commitment comes down to this final game Myers, and Cambridge has performed great week in and week out! Unfortunately only one team will be crowned Champions. A close one between Myers and Metro with Myers holding on in the end. #7 Donnelly only had 10 completions on 29 attempts, not his best game even thu he had 2 TD passes. He also ran the ball for 60 yards. The offense had some help from their defense DB#39 Barker with a TD. For Myers to get by the high powered Lions #7 Donnelly must have a great game and prove to the Bantam OVFL that the Wettges Conference was as strong as the Adam Conference this year. The Riders Defense MUST convert again with at least another 7 points, and keep all the Lions WR's in front of them not giving up the big play. Cambridge has been the Big Kids on the block for most of the season. A hugh game by the Lions Special teams last week scoring 2 TD's by #85 and #16 and Hill#6 going 10 for 5 with 1 TD. For the Lions to be OVFL champions they must play mistake free football and keep Myers QB #7 Donnelly off the field. Cambridge wins 31-20 over Myers
